Extra-curricular activities

1. Value Education : Every year the college conducts a course on Value Education in association with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKON). The main aim is to inculcate moral values and develop professional ethics among students.
2. N.S.S.(National Sevice Scheme) : Initially the N.S.S. unit comprised of 100 students. We now have an increased strength of 200. 'Not Me but You' is the motto and we firmly believe in it. Students learn the value of service to others. A seven day special winter camp is held every year. We conduct various activities under this scheme, such as cleanliness drive, blood donation camps, organizing medical camps, visiting orphanages etc. Our students engage themselves in social work for a minimum of 120 hours in the regular N.S.S. activity. This results in developing a good sense of social responsibility.
3. N.C.C. (National Cadet Corps) : The College has a unit of NCC attached to the second Maharashtra Girls Battalion. NCC provides a platfrom to explore students leadership qualities and develop their personality. Many of our students have attended National Level Camps and have cleared the B and C certificate examinations.
4. Board of Students Development : This department consists of the Vidyarthini Manch, Disaster Management Workshop, Personality Development Program, Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan, under which guidance is provided in developing leadership qualities, self defence etc. The Earn and Learn Scheme is granted to the college by the S.P.P.U. Many students have benefitted through this scheme. Students work in our Computer Lab, College Office, Library, Gymkhana etc. They get work experience along with some financial help under this scheme.
5. Bahishaal : Under this department, we organize Babasaheb Jaykar lecture series in association with the S.P.P.U.
6. Department of Sports and Physical Education : Our college encourages and promotes talented students in the field of sports. Discipline and excellence in sports are special features of our college. Maintenance of physical and mental fitness in ensured through our well equipped Gym with latest instruments & also Table Tennis , Badminton Court, Volley Ball ground and a Basket Ball court. Every year girls from our college participate in the Inter collegiate, Inter - zonal, State, Inter University and National Level Competitions. Every year in January, an interclass sports festival (Krida Mohatsav) is organised to encourage our students to participate in sport activities.
7. Seminars and Workshops : Our college arranges various workshops for students development and enrichment of their personalities. Lectures and Discussions on topics such as Health, Law, Women’s Empowerment, Information Technology etc. are conducted.
8. Intra College Compettions : We arrange different competitions for students with a view to give scope to their talent. We arrange competitions like poster making, painting, rangoli, mehandi, hairstyle, cookery, dance, statue, Miss H.M.V.M., quiz, essay competition, elocution, debates etc.

STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

1. Scholarships: Various Scholarships are made available to the underprivileged students of our college. e.g. Government of India (Samajkalyan)
2. Computer Lab : We have a well equipped computer lab with internet facility and have new updated softwares.
3. Library : The college provides a well equipped automated library with various reference books, text books and national and international periodicals. Proper guidance is given to the students on information resources. Book Bank Scheme is available to the students.
4. Parent Teacher Meeting : Every year we organize a Parent-Teacher meeting. In the meeting there is an open discussion and queries of parents are answered. Information of activities, college discipline, rules and regulations and other necessary information is given to them.
5. Student Counseling : We provide counseling facility to our students. A Counsellor is appointed for them.
