Co-curricular activities
We impart education to students to attain academic excellence as well as develop their personalities. Students understand the meaning and scope of the subject and get in-depth knowledge of the same. Besides this we also have the following activities:
- ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CENTRE : The college has started an Entrepreneurship Development Centre for those students who are seeking to be self employed or interested in starting their own business. Lectures and workshops are organised and a platform is made available to exhibit and sell their products. They are encouraged to become Entrepreneurs.
- Art Circle : Under this circle we arrange dance, dramatics, elocution, workshops, competitions etc. We participate in the renowned intercollegiate competitions like Purushottam Karandak, Firodia Karandak, Sakal Karandak and Sinhgad Karandak etc. Every year we arrange the Annual Social Gathering and Prize Distribution under the Art Circle. In short, cultural activities are conducted under this.
- Career Guidance : Industry Experts are invited to guide our students to make the best possible choices regarding their careers, different opportunities available in various fields, educational qualifications and skills required for the same are also explained to them.
- Soft Skill Development Program : This is conducted every year for the T.Y. B.Com students. It enchances their communication skills, develops their personality and makes them confident. It grooms, polishes and prepares them for the future.
- Competitive Exam Guidance : Guidance is provided to those students who are seeking to crack various Entrance exams like CET, UPSC, MPSC, etc.
- Student Council : A Student Council is formed every year. Meritorious students with leadership qualities are chosen and appointed as Class Representatives. These Members help to arrange various programms in the college. They also act as a link between the faculty and students.
- Management Week : The college conducts a 'Management week' and 'IT Week' every year for the B.B.A. and the B.B.A. (CA) students. It prepares them for the corporate world. Various activities, games, sessions and lectures are organized on topics like self awareness and analysis, image building, career streaming, goal setting, entrepreneurship development, manners and etiquettes and so on. It is conducted by professional and corporate trainers. It helps the students to develop their personality, improve their communication skills, know themselves better and lead a successful well balanced life.
- Business Day : Girls are encouraged to participate in the Business Day. Here stalls are put up by the students where they sell various products right from bindis, gift articles, snacks, imitation handmade jewelry etc. They are inspired and encouraged to become entrepreneurs. They learn management skills, costing, marketing, communication, team work, budgeting and also enjoy the profits.
- Documentary Films : Study related documentary and short films are shown to the students. CDs are also shown, This helps them to understand the subjects better with live examples.
- Industrial Visits : The B.B.A. and B.Com students are given industrial exposure so that they learn what exactly happens in an industry. The BBA students have to prepare projects based on this. and B.Com have practicals. A tour is also arranged for B.B.A.(CA).
- Commerce Lab : Girls are encouraged to prepare wall papers on various subjects. These are then displayed in the Commerce Lab. Allied projects are also available for reference. Also various models prepared by students are exhibited here.
Computer lab
The computer laboratory in college is equipped with 50 computers, having the facility of internet, LAN, scanner and printers. The lab is secured with Antivirus software and there is a backup facility. Students from all disciplines that is B.Com, BBA, BBA (CA) utilize the lab for various purposes like filling forms, working on projects, making presentations etc.
Various softwares are installed on the computers as per the requirement of BBA (CA) course. The BBA (CA) students use the lab for Practical work.
